My First Seattle WordPress Meetup

I had been planning to go to the Seattle WordPress Meetup at the TechStars building near South Lake Union last night, and I caught the bus a few blocks when I got off work from First Rate Financial but accidentally got off at a bus stop about a mile away. I scrambled to get there and luckily made it about 10 minutes before the actual presentation started. John Chow was the guest speaker today, and shared a lot of valuable information. I’ve been following his blog for some time now, so it was pretty fulfilling. He was very polite and answered a lot of questions I asked personally, in addition to group questions for people new to WordPress. He made over $500,000 last year with his blog, and I hope to get there someday myself!

I believe you can do anything you set your mind to doing.
There are no guarantees that you will succeed. People fail all the time, BUT…everyone who has ever succeeded, 100% of them, are people who never gave up.

    • That’s true! I’m still taking action and starting, which a lot of people who have ideas don’t even bother doing for some reason. I used to be one of those people and I don’t understand why I never took action for so many years!
